The ASCC is committed to the basic premise that organisations with an interest in advancing stem cell research can accelerate their progress by working together.
Stem cell research, like all other fields of science does not operate in a vacuum; research and researchers are highly interconnected and globalised. Research and development operates through both competition and cooperation and must be an international pursuit. Collaborations with scientists and organisations outside of Australia play a valuable role in advancing Australian research. International collaborations allow Australia to significantly leverage its financial and intellectual investment in the field and reduce duplication to advance shared interests.
