As an extension to the highly successful four day introductory pluripotent stem cell training workshop, the ASCC will start offering advanced traineeships of up to six months for specific parties.
This purpose of these traineeships is to develop a high level of technical expertise and knowledge in handling and manipulating pluripotent cells for the individual trainee, also allowing the trainee to take back to their home institute new stem cell based technologies. The cost of the traineeship will be covered by the trainee’s home organisation and is to be determined on a case-by-case basis.
Prerequisites
To be eligible to apply for an extended traineeship through the ASCC, the participants must have had at least the equivalent of six months of general hands-on tissue culture experience AND some basic experience in stem cell culture, obtained either through work experience or by participating in the ASCC Basic Stem Cell Training workshop (or an equivalent course elsewhere).
